The retail outlet Siren hired K/O to complete their image and interiors for their new retail store to be located in a West Des Moines strip mall. Siren is known for its high end chic casual women’s clothing.
The store is laid out in a very relaxed format that allows for a natural flow as one enters. The interior was created on a tight budget and utilizes exposed finishes; however, several finely crafted custom millwork pieces were created for use in the store. An artist was brought in and painted a 15 foot diameter mural on the stained concrete floor, which is experienced when one enters the space. The focal point of the retail experience is the centralized dressing rooms with custom painted tapestry curtains that one draws closed as they enter for privacy.
